A very nice shelter. Above all, it's large and offers enough space for up to 12 people. About 400 meters away is a large box of firewood. Right next to the camp is a small, weatherproof shed where unused wood can be stored for the next group. A truly beautiful place.

We came here with our bikes because we thought the path through the forest would be rideable, but that was a misjudgment. The location of the shelter is great, but the access is absolutely not suitable for bikes.

Lilla Göljan is a small lake in Fjällmossen nature reserve. It has two shelters that are interconnected, a fireplace and a couple of picnic tables. Just next to the shelters is also a privy/outhouse, and along the trail to the north is a nice drinking water source and access to firewood. There is also an axe available! There is a small jetty going into the water, and swimming is possible, but apparently not recommended. The shelter area has nice evening sun and a view of the sunset, but in the morning the sun rises behind some cliffs on the opposite side, so you don't get much sun here until later in the morning. Be careful to not hit your head in the low edges of the shelter roof! Both me and the guy who used the other shelter came away with a small cut in our heads. Note that the shelter location is close to the parking spot of the nature reserve, so it may get crowded on popular days.

The shelter location is elevated a bit from the actual lake, but is in a pretty nice spot. There is an outhouse in the woods right behind the shelter. The shelter has a fireplace and is equiped with a saw for preparing firewood. Down by the water is a separate firepit and a pretty big patch of flat ground, enough to pitch several tents. There is a water source ~500m along the trail to the north west of the shelter. It looked fine when I passed by in the spring, but several people had complained in the shelter guest book that it was dried out when they visited, so it may not be reliable. The trail leading east towards Fagerö was completely flooded when I visited, so be prepared to make your way through the brush if you go here during wet seasons. Note that there is another shelter nearby, at the Fagerö swimming area.

Follow the orange signs, it is 200 meter away from the viewpoint “Spiran”. Very nice shelter with a nice view and fireplace. No toilet.

Make sure to bring good hiking shoes and watch your footing! Surface can be treacherous especially when (a bit) wet.
