Take a moment and take closer look at the lake shore on the opposite site. You can see dramatic cliff wall rising from the lake. On a calm day, the lake acts like a mirror for a stunning picturesque view.

Nice shelter by the lake! The shelter is well equiped with a saw, an axe, buckets as well as a picnic table. There is a fireplace right in front of the shelter as well as a separate firepit down by the water. There is a small outhouse behind the shelter and another one located a few hundred meters north along the trail, when crossing the small gravel road. There is a small swimming spot along the shore just south of the shelter.

If you don't necessarily want to go to Linköping, you should definitely go around Roxen to the north. A very nice route!

Great lake with a steep northern shore. Some surefootedness is required here. The view from the top is worth it.

Watch out, the moose eat people here too!!

With a bit of luck you can spot flying moose here!!

Long piece of dreamy road with little traffic along the Roxen See. Asphalt is good, it rolls along smoothly. Every now and then you have beautiful views of the lake and the surrounding area.
