In 1890, the Swedish Tourist Association (STF) built a tourist cabin with overnight accommodation at the Njoammelsaskam - Harspänget waterfall. At the same time, the hiking trail between Gallivare - PorjusHarspranget was created. There, tourists could marvel at the mighty and untamed waterfalls along the upper part of the Great Lule River. The viewing point can be reached via a number of beautifully laid out wooden walkways and stairs. Access is therefore not wheelchair accessible. The gorge is impressive. A stop here is definitely worth it. Numerous benches with and without tables invite you to have a picnic. The parking lot is located directly on the E45.

In the middle of Sweden's highest mountains you hike through the valley - the spectacular view is included. If you are looking for a campsite that you will probably never forget in your life, you will find it here. In midsummer, however, it is advisable to avoid the birch trees, because mosquitoes like to hang out here.
