This wilderness hut and surrounding flat land is a perfect spot to stop and take a break. If you need to shelter from bad weather, the hut is available to use.

Shelter with fireplace and toilet. Very clean. There was no firewood available when we visited.

We wanted to set up camp here, but the place was rented out to another family! We ended up staying next to the big lake on the mainroad.

The hostel "The Wilderness Lodge" is located in the heart of the Malingo-Kloten nature reserve. The reception and a small shop are in the yellow building, the rooms in the neighboring red building. In the summer season you can rent canoes here. Kloten is the first and last stage of the Bergslag Trail, which starts and ends here.

Small space between the road and the lake. Sanitary simple but clean, kitchen available, nice meadow for the tent. The official price is too high. Persistent bargaining helps.

This shelter is located on private grounds and should be discussed with the owner for use beforehand. Nearby there is a refuge for everyone.

The shelter has a fire pit inside and space for at least 4 people to sleep. There is a dry toilet and usually wood.
