A castle that you can visit with gastronomy

Shady spot by the lake with some rocks to sit on. Not so easy to reach by bike, bike has to be pushed in places.

There are multiple spots for a tent in case the shelter is occupied. Bins for thrash are close to the shelter and there's a small wharf for lake access. Loads of mosquitos so keep that in mind :)

Svaneholm Castle goes back to a Renaissance building that was built in the 16th and 17th centuries. It is idyllically situated on Svaneholmssjö and is surrounded by a well-tended castle park. Concerts, open-air festivals and other activities are held in the park in summer. The Association for Monument Preservation and Local Lore Vemmenhög Härad operates part of the castle as a museum. In another part there is a restaurant with a great Sunday brunch. The castle was also a film location, something like that in the BBC series Wallander in the episode "The man who smiled", in which the villain Harderberg resides on Svaneholms Slott. https://svaneholmsslott.se/

Beautifully situated bathing area at Sövdesjon.

Great Vindskydd (windshelter) along the trails of the Skåneleden with the typical fire pit. Lake Eksholms is just a few meters away, so you can get water for your camp. Make sure to treat it though.
