Nice spot

Picnic area with two barbecue areas and several picnic benches and tables, beautiful meadow. I couldn't find out for sure whether this is the permitted place for camping in the nature reserve; the map displayed at the entrance to the nature reserve is just too rough. In any case, I didn't have any problems. Quite a lot of people pass by, park nearby and take their dogs for a walk.

The viewpoint can be climbed via ladder. There‘s a bench on the top platform. It’s a great spot to take a break and enjoy the view!

To be honest, the water at the fire station was not drinkable...

A tip for (long-distance) hikers: There is a public drinking water tap at the fire station on Djupet.

Very quiet forest lake.

Idyllically situated forest lake directly on the Skaneleden.

You will find some fire pits and flat space for your tent with a nice view at lake Verkasjön. It might be a nice alternative for Verkeåns wind shelter which is a little rustic and nestled into the woods without a view.
