Fantastic stretch along the edge of the ford. The landscape is very varied, between the majestic cliffs, green pastures, and gently lapping water.

Take your rubbish with you! Leave no trace...

you will have to push your bike the last 300 meters unless you have a mountain bike and very light load! But it's worth the hassle. the view is fantastic and the shelter has space for 6 people sleeping. There's also a great spot for a tent near the shelter, and a nice fire pit with log benches.

Parking is available at the southwestern tip. There is an information board about the path. There is also a box where you can take (and put back) laminated cards and descriptions. Really great way through original nature. Partly over rocks (but hardly any climbing!), partly through forest, partly over swampy paths. Our hiking sandals were soaking wet! Beautiful views, be it the lakes or biotopes, as well as in the distance. Really great way!!

Wonderful hiking trail along the skerry coast, running in the forest, shady, sometimes steep uphill and downhill alternating, with stone slabs and well-placed benches as vantage points. We recommend.

From here, after a small climb, you have a great view of the Jorefjorden bay with its many islands.
