August 2024: There's a large hornets' nest in the hut. Therefore, it's unusable. The fire pit next door is. Otherwise, use the hut about 1.2 km after/before. It's more spacious/nice anyway.

Unfortunately, we were disappointed and horrified at what a stinking, brown, poisonous mess the "Green Lake" is (judging by the garbage lying down there). But that's not the fault of the other tip-givers, the water level was probably somewhere between 5-10m lower than in the other pictures.

I spent two nights at Lake Glycksjön and had the lake to myself for two whole days. It’s a dreamlike spot. The cabin is a bit leaky, and when it rains, it can be tricky to find a spot where it doesn’t drip, but overall it’s a cozy little place with a fire pit both inside and outside the cabin. There’s also a small toilet hut.

We were put on the trail of the green lake by local hikers. It was a nice climb to a very beautiful place!

Here you will find a large rest area with infrastructure. There are several tables, a barbecue area, a wind shelter and good access to the lake. But also a closed hut with bunk beds and a toilet house. Here you can spend the night very well, celebrate or just have a quick rest. A beautiful mountain lake. When you start from the north side and come up to the lake, the soul breathes. The lake is nice to see and actually invites you to take a bath. Definitely a welcome change from all the rocks
