Very cute, delicious breads and cakes, whole pots of tea and coffee. An overnight stay with a historic feel. Very nice hosts!

Great place for lunch or “fika” (coffee and cake).

There are two shelter-huts not visible from the gravel road, each ones entry directed in opposite directions (north or south), which might be helpful depending on the wind conditions when there is bad weather. The toilet facility is located south of the shelters, where the path leads back to the gravel road. The bird-watch hut is located in the north west. If you arrive in the dark this might be useful.

Shelter with outhouse. Unfortunately, the shelter is more in the bushes than on the lake. It's a few minutes' walk to the lake.

In the description of the official map to the wind shelters (vindskydds) there are both the classic open shelter and a hut. However, the hut is an old, dark hay shed, which is not very inviting to stay overnight and it lacks some sleeping platforms. The two wind shelters are however in good condition with one firepit each. There are more firepits on the spacious meadow where you can pitch your tent. At a well behind the hut you will find a pump with drinking water. In case it doesn't work, there is a small stream nearby. You will also find a pit toilet at the meadow.

The cat seems to be a regular guest at this wind shelter. She is a friendly fella if you treat her well. If you have sensitive gear like a down sleeping bag, keep in mind, that she will spend the night with you. We tried to put a towel between our sleeping bag and the cat that insisted on sleeping on our feet. However, that helped poorly against her claws ;)

Great Vindskydd (windshelter) along the trails of the Skåneleden. Beautiful views and company from cows and a cat. The water pump isn't working, so make sure you have enough water with you.
