A small wooden walkway takes you a few meters out onto the lake, where you can sit and enjoy the view over the water. There's also a swimming exit for those particularly warm days.

Beautiful area with three shelters, plenty of BBQ spots & benches. Two shelters are located across a bridge, firewood was provided. On the main shore there is a bathing area and jetties as well as a bathroom block with two toilets (incl. an accessible one). There is also a sitting area with charging possibilities in the block, however it was closed in September.

Very nice short hike, we really enjoyed it. Our 9-year-old dog also had fun because everything was nice and shady under the trees and he could cool off in the lake. Ideal for people who prefer short tours.

beautiful castle, but I can't do much with most of the sculptures

There are many (more or less) beautiful sculptures in the grounds around the castle! Beauty is of course always in the eye of the beholder...
