The Mermet chalets were built during the 19th century. If they are now empty, they provide shelter and bivouac.

Very nice place to relax after a long climb, the compulsion to eat is a little inconsistent with people on a budget, but the food is tasty and worth the money.

It's a really nice refuge, in the heart of the hollow of Lachat mountain pasture. You can eat there during the day and spend the night there (reservation required). From the terrace, you have a view of Mont Blanc and Tournette. Quite a nice panorama!
