The Siersburg (also Siersberg Castle) is the ruin of a high medieval hilltop castle in the Siersburg district of the Saarland municipality of Rehlingen-Siersburg in the Saarlouis district, Germany. It was used as a state castle of the Duchy of Lorraine and, as the former seat of the Lords of Siersberg-Dillingen, has a close historical connection to the Old Castle in Dillingen/Saar on the opposite side of the Saar.🏰🚵‍♂️

The castle ruins of the same name stand above Siersburg. From up here you have a perfect all-round view.

The main building was built around 1800. It is surrounded by a park that was larger before the highway was built. The castle is privately owned and unfortunately cannot be visited.

The paved road between Zeurang and Schwerdorff, which leads past the castle, is great to drive and there is hardly any traffic.
