Small, narrow and charming road in the middle of impressive gorges... be careful, there is a bit of traffic in summer but the cars don't go fast

Absolutely stunning gorge hike, but make sure you have good shoes and lights for the tunnels. When we were there, the water was partly 20 cm high.

The Gorges du Verdon, whose source is near the Col d'Allos, one of the highest passes in France, extend over approximately 100 km. You can enjoy the view from above or walk down to the water's edge.

Did this river ever exist? I don't know, I only come in the summer. I have never seen water here.
