Superb forest then superb descent to Alzen. In Alzen, do not miss the pretty loop of the Sainte-Croix chapel, a very pretty site and stop about 2 km below Alzen to access (on foot) the site of the waterfall of the same name. This waterfall, less known than that of Ars, is also spectacular with its 43 m drop.

If you want, you can skip the circular route via GR10 and Etang de Guzet and shorten the hike to an out and back route. In July, blueberry bushes line part of the path and they were delicious. ;-)
