The hut was open during my visit (July 2024) and in good condition.

The Trapero gîte is located in a typical old Basque house. It offers all types of accommodation. You find there 15 places in dormitories, 10 places in tents as well as two guest rooms. The lodge also offers meals.

The hut was not very inviting, but the table with two benches behind the hut is perfect for eating and relaxing in the shade
