Truly splendid. A must-see and don't hesitate to make the short detour to see it fall into the valley.

Just before reaching it, there's a viewing platform (short detour to the left). A little further on, there's a warning sign where you can cut through the undergrowth to the left and see the waterfall from the side. ⚠️ Life-threatening! Only in dry conditions and for adults only!

If you stand below the large boulders, the path goes up to the left, so that you can reach the entrance of the cave via a short climb.

Great waterfall and a great swimming opportunity. The right refreshment after a strenuous hike. Don't forget your swimming trunks.

The official and well-marked hiking trail ends in the riverbed about 300m before La Chapelle. From there you have to explore the path through the stones and rocks on your own. You cross the river at least 4 times. Don't forget your bathing suit, in order to "go" deeper into the chapel you have to swim.

La Chapelle is one of the geological curiosities of the Cirque de Cilaos. Its natural shape resembles a cathedral made up of huge rocks that meet under which flows a waterfall creating a basin.

The Bras Rouge waterfall is an emblematic waterfall on Reunion Island. Several meters high, it has the particularity of being able to be observed from above. Be careful some rocks can be slippery.
