The romantic town of Kaiserstuhl is always worth a visit. Beautiful beer gardens 🍻 of course invite you to do so. You can also hike well on both sides of the Rhine.

The Eglisau power station is an old hydroelectric power station with a boat lock. The power of the water is very noticeable here. The power station can also be visited in groups on request. Quiet border crossing, also suitable for walks to Switzerland or Germany.

It is exciting to feel the power of the water on the power plant itself. Since we were at -10 degrees in winter, you should definitely dress very warm. Normal hiking boots 🥾 if you want Nordic walking sticks.
