Excellent view of the pond opposite Sète. The 60-kilometer cycle loop around the basin allows you to explore the largest pond in Occitanie up close.

No access in all directions. Lake partially visible here and there. A few nice paths and trails in the area, but nothing else. Not really recommended.

Here you can eat and rest with beautiful views of the Etang de Thau. Bouzigues is best known for oysters!

Bouzigues is a must for oyster lovers. Restaurant after restaurant are lined up along the pier. Here you should make sure that you go to a restaurant whose operator is also an oyster farmer (producteur). Unfortunately the community failed to close the parking lots at the pier. In none of the restaurants you have a clear view of the Etang, as this is blocked by parked cars. If you do not have any culinary requirements and only want to eat oysters, it is advisable to enjoy the oysters in one of the producer barracks in front of the actual place. Many have a few seats behind the shop directly on the water with a view of the oyster beds. You sit between the tools of the oyster farmers and enjoy the oysters with a glass of local wine and a sandwich. It doesn't get any fresher.
