Surrounded by marshes, reeds and a variety of birdlife, this lagoon is located near the Mediterranean coast and is a haven for migratory and resident bird species. You will enjoy a leisurely stroll while enjoying panoramic views of the water and surrounding vegetation. You will also come across salt marshes and, if you are lucky, you will spot pink flamingos wading in the shallow waters.

Currently (August) closed due to the risk of forest fires. It's over on the street.

Tunnel de Malpas, very narrow path through the tunnel, I had to carry my bike. Fortunately noone was coming the other way. This is a multi-level construction. The road passes over the canal tunnel, which passes over the rail tunnel, which passes over the drainage tunnel from the Etang de Montady. A train passed under my feet when I was in the canal tunnel, weird!
