It's a beautiful bike ride. Plenty of parking is available (fee applies). Nearby is the Egg swimming pool, with a snack stand (sausage and sandwiches). The Greifensee and Lützelsee lakes are 48 km away, and are also suitable for children.

A beautiful circular hike around the Pfäffikersee. Feasible for the whole family. Expect a lot of people on the weekends.

Nice view from the dam over Lake Zurich and Rapperswil and the opportunity to shorten the tour around the lake.

JUCKERHOF SEE GRÄBEN The Juckerhof is the adventure farm on Lake Pfäffikersee run by the Jucker family. It all started with the pumpkin, today the farm is much more than that. There is plenty of space to relax, a breathtaking view, a farm shop, a farm bakery, a restaurant, a goat park, a straw castle to jump around in, blueberries to pick yourself, a natural playground and a huge apple maze with a barefoot experience. Pfäffikersee circular route no. 890 The popular circular route around Lake Pfäffikersee in the Zurich Oberland leads through unique nature with typical moor plants, past the romantic farming village of Seegräben and back to the pulsating lake promenade of Pfäffikon ZH. The starting point is Pfäffikon ZH, where you are just a stone's throw away in the middle of an enchanting lakeside landscape. A comfortable path leads past high reed belts and magnificent moorland landscapes, which provide a habitat for countless animal and plant species. Along the way you can catch a particularly attractive view of the nature reserve from pretty wooden walkways. A very special eye-catcher is the farming village of Seegräben, which you can see, gently embedded in the intact nature. With the half-timbered houses typical of the region, the place offers a romantic view and takes the viewer back to earlier times. The wide meadows sway peacefully in the wind and on the lake side the variety of aquatic plants and local animals is impressive. For a relaxing break, there are both cozy places in nature and restaurants along the route. A detour to the signposted adventure farm is also worthwhile. After the village of Auslikon, the stately Roman fort appears on the horizon as another eye-catcher before you reach Pfäffikon ZH again - showered by the natural experience. Pfäffikersee The Pfäffikersee is a 3.3 km² lake in the Zurich Oberland, Switzerland, with a catchment area of 40 km². The Pfäffikersee lies in a valley on the western edge of the hilly area in the Zurich Oberland. The lake stretches in a north-south direction between Pfäffikon ZH and Wetzikon with a length of 2.5 kilometers and an average width of 1.3 kilometers. The average lake level is 537 m above sea level. M.; the deepest point on the lake floor reaches 501 m above sea level. M., which corresponds to a maximum depth of 36 meters; the average lake depth is 18.5 meters. The distance of the ZAW hiking trail around Lake Pfäffikersee is nine kilometers. The only notable tributary is the Kemptnerbach (also called Chämtnerbach in the dialect), which rises in the western Tössbergland between Bäretswil and Fischenthal below the Allmen and flows into Lake Pfäffikersee in the southeast after a run of around 9.5 km. In the south, the Ustermer Aa leaves the Pfäffikersee, flows first south and then in a northwesterly direction to Greifensee. The lake shore is very flat on all sides except the west. The eponymous Pfäffikon, whose old town center is close to the north bank, the farming village of Seegräben in the southwest and the town of Wetzikon in the south have parts of the lake. The area around Lake Pfäffikersee was already populated in the Neolithic period, as numerous finds of prehistoric and protohistoric settlement remains (pile dwellings) have proven. The ruins of the Roman fort Irgenhausen are located near the eastern shore of the lake. Text/Source: Wikipedia https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pf%C3%A4ffikersee
