The starting point is Pfäffikon ZH, where you are just a stone's throw away in the middle of an enchanting lakeside landscape. Pfäffikersee The Pfäffikersee is a 3.3 km² lake in the Zurich Oberland, Switzerland, with a catchment area of 40 km². The Pfäffikersee lies in a valley on the western edge of the hilly area in the Zurich Oberland. The lake stretches in a north-south direction between Pfäffikon ZH and Wetzikon with a length of 2.5 kilometers and an average width of 1.3 kilometers. The average lake level is 537 m above sea level. M.; the deepest point on the lake floor reaches 501 m above sea level. M., which corresponds to a maximum depth of 36 meters; the average lake depth is 18.5 meters. The distance of the ZAW hiking trail around Lake Pfäffikersee is nine kilometers.
