It's a beautiful bike ride. Plenty of parking is available (fee applies). Nearby is the Egg swimming pool, with a snack stand (sausage and sandwiches). The Greifensee and Lützelsee lakes are 48 km away, and are also suitable for children.

The historic town of Rapperswil offers many possibilities. The waterfront promenade is lined with bars and cafés and there is a lot of activity to see and be seen. The lake dam that separates the Obersee and the Untersee here also makes it possible to shorten laps around Lake Zurich.

Very beautiful old town with two large squares (main square and fisherman's square) and some very nice little streets at the foot of the castle hill.
