This spot didn't impress me: "blue lake" is an exaggeration, it's a very small reservoir... lots of people on the banks too.

Great hike with magical landscapes, however, there is a big downside on the last 3 kilometers on the departmental road with heavy rolling. Avoid with children who are too small and not used to hiking. Some passages are not easy, do not leave without suitable equipment (especially shoes)

Anyone who likes to push/carry their eBike up the steepest paths when it starts to rain over muddy, slippery roots, coarse, moss-covered stones and fallen tree trunks will find the perfect tour here. The increase can be found in taking a three-year-old daughter in a child seat. Seriously: The tour is really beautiful, almost a fairytale forest. But by no means advisable with the eBike. Highly recommended as a hiking trail!

Blue Lake, as you can imagine, owes its name to the bright shades of blue that its water takes on. The bridge that spans the lake makes it look bigger than it is, but it is actually the dam that creates the lake on the Gardon River.

Located inside the forest, this impressive example of a tufa waterfall is only accessible during heavy rain. Either way, it's worth taking a look.

Lac Bleu, as you can imagine, owes its name to the bright shades of blue that its water takes on. The bridge over the lake almost makes it look bigger than it is, but in fact the bridge is the dam that creates the lake on the Gardon River.
