In the office building of the former ore mine, eight beds await new guests, each divided into four small sleeping cabins with two beds each. There is also a kitchen and living unit in the front part of the building where guests can cook and eat together. Six places to sleep await curious guests here, where decades ago the lorry wagons were weighed full of the precious, ore-bearing Minette rock. The old ironworks company administration building in Tétange is steeped in history: from here the stone went to all the steelworks in the region, creating part of the wealth that made up the Grand Duchy in the 20th century. The perfect balancing act between luxury and naturalness: in the Kabaisches in Bergem, one of a total of eleven hiking huts along the regional hiking trail, the focus is on the environment and sustainability. The little huts are made from recycled cardboard. The walls are made of 24 layers of cardboard that are wrapped around a mold in a giant machine, much like the winding of a bobbin. Hence the name "Wikkelhouse". The Wikkelhouses consist of individual segments that have been put together flexibly and creatively like building blocks.
