3월에는 강에 물이 아직 충분했습니다. 모험심과 젖은 신발이나 맨발로 강바닥을 건널 준비가 되어 있다면, 경로는 실현 가능했고 또한 정말 아름다웠습니다. 하지만 난이도는 분명 더 이상 보통이 아니었습니다 ;)

Beautiful hike, but not with your dog! Part of the trail goes over grating that's very rough and not suitable for dog paws. Unfortunately, we had to cut the hike short for this reason, which is a real shame 😢

A very beautiful, easy path along a water pipe above the river. Very green and overgrown in April.

A well-marked and maintained trail, even with metal walkways, making it easy for anyone of average fitness to follow (there are some stairs and hills to climb). The route takes us past a sheltered mill, the old Roman bridge, and more. The route isn't very long, and the scenery is truly enjoyable. If you take the opportunity to eat in the village, the bread is already perfect.

In March 2025 there was a lot of water flowing, a trip is then only possible with suitable water shoes. We did not have that and returned.

The hiking trail could be so beautiful... At the beginning of Frigiliana there is a very beautiful path over the irrigation canal with a railing on the side of the ravine. Unfortunately this railing ends after about 1.5 km, then the path becomes worse and more dangerous. Only sure-footed hikers with a head for heights should continue here. It's a shame, we wanted to descend a kilometer further into the dried-up riverbed of the Rio Higueron and hike back.

The riverbed of the Rio Higueron, which dries up in summer, is a wonderful place to walk in summer. It is shaded in long sections by huge oleander bushes, which are particularly beautiful when they are in bloom. In the Frigiliana area, there is a large difference in height of around 10 m. There is a staircase there, but it is not immediately visible, so keep your eyes open.
