This beautiful and quiet waterfall is located shortly after passing the urban center of the town of Santa Pau towards Mieres, within the river basin of the Sant Martí stream before flowing into the Ser river.
Just as the road crosses the Ser, next to the mill in the river, a dam has been built that creates a waterfall-like fall. Today, when it has been raining heavily for days, it is spectacular!
The Can Cotilla waterfall (also known as Sant Martí Gorge) is located shortly after passing the town of Santa Pau towards Mieres, in the river basin of the Sant Martí stream before flowing into the river Ser.
My photos don't do this site justice. There are three waterfalls with a swimming hole in between the second and the third. Hopefully someone will add a few more photos …
Castle of medieval construction that still maintains elements of Romanesque style. Next to the castle there is a mill that was powered by the waters of the River Ser, at a point where a waterfall forms.
