Many small paths lead to the bay, some are easy to find, some make you stumble through the bushes

If you want, you can climb. But you don't have to. You can also stay on the path.

If you follow the river, you will automatically come to this steep slope. You have to climb up or down it to be able to continue the route. The rocky ground has been heavily eroded by the water and is therefore slippery. People with significant mobility problems and lack of strength will have considerable problems at this point. A little climbing skill is required!

A very beautiful valley, which used to be used for agriculture. A relatively easy hiking trail leads from a small gravel parking lot near Port de Pollencia to the bay. The hike is accompanied by local goats.

A hiking app is particularly helpful for such paths because there is often no clearly defined route.

Interesting rock formations form a portal through which you enter the Boquer valley

A typical Majorcan "trail" in a torrent. Not a highlight, but great to hike through. Stressful.

The area around Cala Bóquer is of great historical importance. Because the Stone Age Mallorquins are said to have lived here. The name Bóquer derives from Bocchoris and can be traced back to Roman origins. Together with the Roman city of Pollentia (today Alcúdia), this settlement area was one of the most important areas of the island during Roman rule. Even earlier, around 1500 BC. Christ, the original Mallorquins already lived in the valley of Cala Bóquer. They built a settlement in a part of the bay that is difficult to access, the ruins of which are today the oldest and most important evidence of early settlement on Mallorca. https://www.mallorcafuerkinder.de/cala-boquer-wandern/

The path is comfortable, it runs through the old agricultural terraces of the Vall de Bóquer at the foot of the imposing wall of the Serra del Cavall Bernat, fierce and inaccessible in appearance. The old agricultural plots are quite feral due to lack of exploitation and the autochthonous Mediterranean garrigue is colonizing the slopes of the coastal mountains, off the beaten track and peasant sidewalks it is difficult to walk. The wide and comfortable path ends at the extensive Coll del Moro, which has remains of buildings and dry stone walls. The views of Cala Bóquer are beautiful, a true pirate refuge in one of the last calcareous fangs of the Tramuntana before forming the rugged coastal ranges of Formentor.

This is where the "Torrent de les Agulles" gorge ends. From here you can also enter the gorge on the "Cala en Gossalba" circular route.

From the Mirador del Raco d'en Tomas, a very beautiful viewpoint just before you reach the Cap de Formentor, you can start a short hike, e.g. komoot.de/tour/163158582/embed? A third of the hike through this river bed leads to a quiet, idyllic stretch of coast. As almost everywhere in the Tramuntana, this hike is also accompanied by many local goats. Good shoes should be available. You should leave early in the morning due to the limited number of parking spaces.

Surefootedness and good shoes are essential for most hikes. The efforts on this descent are rewarded with a small dreamy bay.

Here you cross the Torren de Aladernar on the hike around the Talaia de Alcudia. https://www.komoot.de/tour/163156365/embed. The ascent is a bit difficult after the river bed. Good shoes are a must here.

The route is relatively easy, e.g. to hike with this route https://www.komoot.de/tour/163156173/embed, however reasonable hiking shoes should still be available. The path is accompanied by the local goats. There is hardly any shade and a lot of wind.
