An absolutely unforgettable experience to walk this tunnel path, which was formerly used for water supply. Countless tunnels, the longest about 15 minutes walking time, spectacular views whose dimensions you can really only guess with the people in the pictures. The slab-roofed waterways have many gaps where you have to balance over the narrow walls if the path next to it gets too narrow or is missing altogether, but most of the time you can walk inside the canal. I would estimate the entire tunnel route (without ascent and descent) to take at least 4 hours. A head for heights and surefootedness are absolutely necessary if you can't walk in the water channels. Danger! The path is marked with prohibition signs on both sides. The path, which has never been overgrown, suggests that it is nevertheless regularly walked.

Probably one of the most beautiful hikes near Puerto de la Cruz. Very varied and easy to reach. With rental car or taxi. Bus 345 from the bus station Puerto to La Caldera Zona approx. 50 minutes.
