The Salto del Caballo Forestry Hut is a small facility located on the summit of Salto del Caballo hill (1642m), in the Sierra de Almijara mountain range, within the Sierras de Tejeda, Almijara y Alhama Natural Park. The hiking trail ascends through ravines (Cambril, Madera) and firebreaks, reaching the hut at a pass near the summit.

Venta de la Leche is a small town and pedanía in the municipality of Zafarraya. It is located in the northwestern part of the comarca of Alhama, close to the border with the province of Málaga.
