The Horse Refuge, also known as the Laguna del Caballo Refuge, is a free refuge located on the northeast face of Cerro del Caballo, in the Sierra Nevada of Granada, at an altitude of approximately 2,860 meters.

This is a shelter in the southernmost part of Sierra Nevada located below the short path that connects the Elorrieta shelter with the Loma de Cañar. This shelter does not have doors, only windows. In this shelter, a colony of native bats nests. In one season of the year, one of the least known and traveled refuges in the mountains since in winter seasons it becomes completely buried by snow and it is difficult to be located, several springs gather next to it, forming the Lanjarón River.
