The Rumblar Reservoir Dam is located on the Rumblar River, in the municipality of Baños de la Encina. Built in 1941, this gravity-type dam is made of masonry and concrete. It has a height of 64.9 meters and a crest length of 220 meters. The reservoir's natural environment is listed as a Site of Community Interest, notable for its biodiversity and the presence of species such as the Iberian lynx, the black stork, and various birds of prey. Furthermore, on one of its banks is Tamujoso Beach, a popular area for sports activities such as canoeing and sailing.

There are several bathing areas on the right bank.

Located in Sierra Morena, this reservoir has the distinction of a place of community interest. The environment is rich in flora and fauna, as it is the habitat of species such as the Iberian lynx. It has recreational areas for bathing and for practicing water sports.

The JV-5041 highway passes over the dam of the Rumblar reservoir in the province of Jaén. The hydrological dam provides electric power using water collected in the river basin.

The Rumblar reservoir built in 1941 in the course of the Rumblar river, in the municipality of Baños de la Encina. The main water supplies are the Rumblar river itself, the Murquigüelo stream, the Higueruelas stream, and the Chico or Renegadero river.

The reservoir is located in the Sierra de Andújar Natural Park, Jaén province, and receives water from the Jándula reservoir, located only seven kilometers to the north. It is one of the oldest in the Guadalquivir basin, inaugurated during the Second Republic.

Taking a walk around the Sierra Morena is always recommended. The smell of the mountains, a consequence of the cistus that grows here, gives a peculiar touch to this area. As well as the spectacular views of the Rumblar reservoir, a basic icon of Baños de la Encina, Bailén and Andújar for being an important element in agriculture by irrigating a large part of its growing areas.
