The crossing of the Campon stream marks the entrance to the beautiful Lecherines Bajo sheepfold or Plano de la Balsa, a highland plain of pastures surrounded by a magnificent crown of limestone ridges and stone towers. The sheepfold is splendid in a grandiose cirque of glacial origin; before arriving at it, it does not seem that a plateau of such proportions could exist at the foot of the peaks.
