The Cau dels Emboscats is one of the cavities that served as a refuge during the civil war. Specifically, several people hid from Sant Llorenç Savall. It wasn't until October 28, 1956, that Biel Dalmau, from the Mas de les Oliveres, explained its location and history to Josep Maria Torras Homet. The mouth is very irregular.
