This climb is one of the alternatives used to reach the Veleta peak from Granada. It's a spectacular, long and challenging ascent, taking you from 700 to 3,300 meters above sea level. The last stretch is along a rather broken track, but it's worth the effort, even on foot, to reach the Veleta geodesic vertex. Enjoy!

The top of Cerro del Sol, located at an altitude of 1,010 meters, gives us beautiful views of the Sierra Nevada.

Also known as Morrón Elvira, like the Sierra in which it is located, it has an altitude of 1099 m. It is accompanied by another slightly shorter bell pepper known as the tip and both together are colloquially known as Sierra Elvira's tits.

Peñón de la Mata, its attractive landscape of pine forests and masses of limestone rock, its medium-height peaks make it a popular destination for hiking all year round.

The Cruz de Víznar is placed at the top of the Collado de Víznar, indicating the highest peak in the municipality.
