Top of this interesting mountain range of the Sierra Morena. There is a magnificent track that leads to the very top.

Quiet ascent with hardly any traffic, up to an old military fortress. From where you have magnificent views of Pamplona and its surroundings

On the outskirts of the center of Pamplona is the mount of San Cristóbal, which was chosen to build the Fort of the same name at the end of the 19th century. Not only the views will captivate you, but also the history of the fort, related to the Spanish Civil War and an event that has marked the history known as "La Fuga de San Cristóbal", when in 1938 there was a massive escape of prisoners that influenced country history.

To get to the top you can choose a wide variety of paths, each one with its technical difficulty but surely with any of them you will enjoy the journey and especially the views. Coming from Elorz, the GR 220 path is impassable in sections, I do not recommend going along it, besides that it is a path for walkers and it can be somewhat crowded.
