It is an open shelter with an indoor and outdoor fireplace. When we were there it was a bit dirty but generally fine, and there is a fountain nearby.

The Castro Verde refuge is a free mountain refuge located at 1155 meters of altitude, in the Sierra de la Umbría, in the province of Soria, community of Castilla y León. The shelter is suitable for making a fire inside and a few meters to the south is a source of drinking water.

Free shelter located on the same access track that leads to the Casas del Salto and Salto de Poveda. Currently (October 2023) it is closed due to the danger posed by the roof in poor condition. Nearby there is a picnic area with tables, benches and a fountain.

Laguna de la Cascada is part of the set of small lagoons of glacial origin of Lagunas de Neila, within the Natural Park of the Lagunas Glaciares de Neila. In the vicinity of the lagoon there is an information panel with interesting data on the flora and fauna.
