The village is located between two large bodies of water, the Mequinenza Reservoir (known as Mar de Aragón) and the Ribarroja Reservoir, which are a true paradise for fishing (carp, black bass, pike-perch, catfish ...) and nautical sports.

The unique natural area “Aiguabarreig” has great ornithological wealth (declared a special area of protection for birds) and is located about 2 km from the city center and extends upstream to the confluence of the Segre and Cinca rivers.

The Sea of Aragon is part of the Mequinenza reservoir. In this area there is a fishing preserve. It is impressive how vast the body of water is.

We are on the other side of Isla de la Magdalena, but we have a magnificent view of the hermitage of the same name, crossing our gaze over the Mequinenza Reservoir. the entry into operation of the Mequinenza reservoir (1966) left the hermitage isolated on an island in the Sea of Aragon

We are in the Utxesa reservoir, an idyllic place to contemplate the flora and fauna of the area from the viewpoints/observatories that will be indicated to us. It has an information booth where there are toilets, maps and in front of the booth, a picnic area to eat and rest.
