모르신‬에서 가장 멋진 ‪10‬개의 산 정상

Gamoniteiru is the highest peak in the Aramo mountain range, located in the geographical center of Asturias. Its 1791 meters stand out above the other peaks in the area. It has an average gradient of approximately 10% and a maximum of 18%, is about 15 km long, and climbs 1465 meters. It's a tough climb with little respite. If you start too fast, it feels incredibly long.

upper Naranco area

This is a short climb, almost seven kilometers long, with a total of 422 meters of elevation gain. It's popular with local cyclists, as it starts in the city of Oviedo itself. The road surface is good, and the views are magnificent.

This spectacular climb will leave you speechless, not only because of the considerable effort involved, but also because of the beautiful views and landscapes it passes through. 15 kilometers and an average of almost 15% gradient, with 14% gradients, guarantee fun. Enjoy!

Most pilgrims go to the Cathedral of San Salvador and very few go up to the 35-meter-high sculpture of Jesus. There is a beautiful path from here to Ules, from where you can return to the Camino Primitivo. The view over Oviedo from up here is definitely worth it.

From the viewpoint on Monte Narranco there is also a large statue of Christ looking down on Oviedo - a well-suited highlight for a hike near Oviedo, not far from the two pre-Romanesque churches from the 9th century, if there isn't another cloud over the mountain and turns the view into a soup of fog. If you don't want to hike or, like me, were unlucky with the weather on your hike - there is also a winding road up to the viewpoint and a few parking spaces right at the destination.
