Puigfred is a mountain of 944 meters that is located at the southern end of the municipality of Sant Martí de Centelles, in the place known as the Cingles de Bertí, and forms a set of predominant elevations of the region along with the mountain range of the Barks (separated by the Nou neck). It is surrounded by different massifs such as Rajadell, Bellavista Vella and Puig-Arnau. To the east of the summit there are other remarkable elevations such as the summit of La Trona or the hill of Rajadell. The GR 5 long-distance path and the Matagalls - Montserrat path also pass to the east.

Any good time, the route can be classified as easy, and if you like history, you will be able to soak up what happened in 1715 and the repercussions to this day.

The Serra de les Abrines is a mountain with a maximum elevation of 613 meters. It is located to the left of the Calders stream, in a place where this river makes a great meander in order to change direction and go all the way around the northern end of the Serra de les Abrines. Right at this end of the mountain range is Calders Castle, on top of an isolated hill which is, in fact, the continuity of the Serra de les Abrines. At the south end is the Serrat de Mussarra.

Collet de Sant Pere, or Coll de la Crossa, is a pass at 930m. On the north-east side of the pass are the remains of the church of Sant Pere del Coll de la Crossa. It is the access point to the Puig de la Caritat with the cross over L'Estany.

The section to ascend if you go by bike is difficult to climb on hills, too much upward slope. I recommend going down the main one and not the other viewpoint, but only if you go by bike, it is a very narrow and inclined section for hikers.
