Øyjordsvatnet is a picturesque, elongated lake characterized by its natural beauty. The lake is surrounded by bare rocks, islands, and peninsulas, with small bays along its shores. It's a popular spot for hiking and cycling, offering a tranquil rural view with a mix of water and rugged, natural terrain.

Quiet mountain lake with clear water and a remote feel – North Gløvrevatnet is a peaceful spot to pause and take in the surroundings.

Kalandsvatnet is a large freshwater lake located south of Bergen. Roads follow parts of its shoreline and the bike path offers pleasant views across the expansive water.

For quite a while the road runs along the long Øyjordsvatnet.

We did a four week trip through Scandinavia. The parking space was one of the most beautiful we have come to and is highly recommended 👍

The Vidden Trail connects the two mountain stations of the Ulriken cable car and the Floyen Schrägbahn. On the plateau you can train beautiful uneven terrain and always has beautiful views. It's best to start at Ulriken and hike to Floyen. Arriving at Floyen, a wonderful panoramic terrace awaits you with very nice views over Bergen.
