This beautiful lake is visited on the hike up to Keiservarden. These trails are much-loved by the people of Bødo. The trail here was inaugurated by Queen Sonja in 2016 and it's thought that around 100,000 locals ascend to Keiservarden every year.

A really great place to camp. You can walk through until you are out of sight and hearing of the road. There are camping options right by the water if you like.

Amazing place to sleep both for views and for easy and comfy place to tent🏕️

Covered and fairly new picnic bench. A few meters further there is also a bench (not covered) with a nice bathing area and trash can.

As soon as you cross the tree line, you have a great view over the lakes and the fjord. Even if the climb is strenuous, it is worth it.

Accessible from the Fridal hiking car park. (about 2.5km) Located in the Sjunkhatten National Park. Nearby great hut with barbecue facilities.
