This small, traditional hut offers a simple yet charming retreat in the heart of nature. Once used by travelers and shepherds, it now provides a peaceful spot to rest and take in the surrounding beauty.

This hut will probably only be open during the winter season, because many cross-country ski runs start here or it can perhaps be rented for events. In any case, we couldn't get the coffee that was advertised outside on the poster.

Not accessible from the street. Private property, no trespassing. .

Definitely only do this tour after several rain-free days! Difficult even for experienced hikers, dangerous when wet!

The hut is not very clean but has a lot of space. Surprisingly, you can also sleep well on the benches.

If you don't want to pitch your tent for the night, this is a nice alternative. Close to river Lågen, you will find this cozy wooden cabin close to a small forest. I don't know if it is a hunter's cabin, but it has free access, benches, tables and a firepit in the center of the cabin. Since there is some food or crumbs left, be aware that there might be rodents.

We were there again in summer. Camping by the lake and in the hut was delicious. Great combination :)
