Lonely paths near the small Trolltjern lake – stopping is not recommended – horseflies and mosquitoes are already waiting here... Update July 2025: The path has been widened and is a little less steep than before.

HM of the whole hike are about 900

Beautiful hike that is definitely recommended! You move above the tree line the whole time with a great view. A detour up from the great hut, where you could spend the night, is definitely worth it. Sometimes you can also see reindeer. You can get fresh waffles with drinks in the Hytte until about 4 p.m. - a luxury :-) Danger! The hike takes more time than indicated. If you move at a moderate speed, it's *about 6.5 hours*! The same way is to be taken back!
