In summer you can go swimming on both sides of the rocky ridge.

The natural monument on the shore of Mjøsa serves to protect fossil-bearing rocks from the Oslo field. The view of the lake from the rocky ridge is great.

Very beautiful, idyllic bathing spot. Hike there through the forest with some narrow and steep paths. On the way back, first follow the path with the red markings, then turn onto the blue markings. The blue path went through the jungle in some places, narrow and sometimes heavily overgrown paths.

Here you can throw yourself into Lake Mjøsa from a height of five meters. By the way: The construction of the diving tower is said to have devoured 28 million Norwegian kroner (equivalent to around 2.7 million euros), which has earned it the unofficial title of “the most expensive diving tower in the world”.

Here at the bathing place everything that wants to swim, fish or grill meets. With seating, various fire and barbecue areas, as well as a jetty and a small sandy beach there is something for everyone.

Lake Fløyta lies east of the large lake Mjøsa. After a nice stretch in the forest and along a small stream, you have a nice view of Fløyta for the first time. A few meters further on there is a bathing area that invites you to take a break.
