Breathtaking view over Tinnsjø. However, fog can sometimes swallow the entire mountain. We experienced this on our tour, and even from the shore, you couldn't see the lake.

Starting from the Stølo area, the road climbs steadily towards Sønstevatn lake. This ascent takes you into higher mountain terrain, requiring a consistent effort to get up. The reward is reaching the expansive landscape around the lake, which offers wide views.

A great place to warm up or get something warm to eat, snacks or just coffee. Very comfortable common rooms. And of course there is also a toilet. If you want to camp nearby, you have to stay at least 150 m away from the houses.
