When it rains, the ascent and descent is very difficult. Due to the steep incline and the large rocks that you have to climb over, it becomes even more difficult

If you like riding downhill on natural trails above the tree line, then Vehuskjerringi should be on your radar. It has trails running down from the peak in three directions (west, south, east), and the summit in itself has breathtaking views in all directions. Myself I have only tried the west trail down, but it is worth carrying the bike to the top for.

Nice little hike to the top of Galten. Nearly all way on road. Nice View over the area.

From the mountain top of Roholtfjellet you have a great view over the region of Telemark. Sit down and relax and don't forget to sign in the "DNT turboka" which sits in the letterbox at the top.
