The Dossena Mines represent a historical testimony to industrial and mining archaeology in the Brembana Valley. These mines have been an important resource for mineral extraction, particularly calamine (a zinc ore), since ancient times. The guided tour allows you to explore the main galleries and learn about the history, mining techniques, and miners' lives.

Interesting historical place. From here you descend to Camerata Cornello or return to Dossena. After exploring the various routes of course!

Alpe Moncodeno is a mountain pasture that is still in operation today. It is one of the most loved places on this side of the Grigne, above all for the large quantity of mysterious caves. There are more than 600 of them, but the most famous is perhaps the "Moncodeno cave": an eternal ice sanctuary visited and mentioned by Leonardo da Vinci, which offers a cool refuge even on the hottest summer days.

The "Crot di darden" is a cave so called because of the sparrowhawks that nest there. It is located at the end of the Valle dei Mulini, after a stretch of path along the riverbed. Beautiful to look up and see the rock above you.

Very scenic waterfall, located at the source of the Enna river. Going up (with caution, the area is very humid and full of moss) to the top of the waterfall, you can admire the cave from which the Enna river flows.

Departure from Selvino towards Trafficanti (Via Mercatorum) then Serina, Colle di Dossena and at the first houses in the town keep to the right, staying high. The road and the signs for the mines do the rest, you can't go wrong. Shortly before and shortly after the mines there is a gravel section, almost all of which is easy to pedal. Then splendid descent, all on asphalt, towards Camerata Cornello. From here it is "intriguing" the uphill face, very hard, towards Cespedonio. Alternatively, when you come to cross the Val Brembana cycle path instead of going up towards Lenna, go down towards San Pellegrino to go up to Selvino. The tour is about 15-17 kilometers long.
