A pretty church on the outskirts of Krummesse... Worth a visit for church enthusiasts.

Whether hiking or fishing, the view from the platform is excellent.

Nice rest area... important on hot days: there's also a drinking water fountain here.

The artwork of canal herring, which move freely in the wind and thus appear to float through the air, is intended to commemorate the former importance of the Stecknitz River for Lübeck. Salt was transported along it from the Lüneburg graduation towers to Lübeck, where the herring were preserved.

The church is located in the middle of the cemetery, barely visible from the streets, and can be visited. The church tower provides access to the nave itself. The carving of the pulpit is particularly beautiful. The compact church building with central columns has an unusual layout, including an organ and pews.

Ancient black poplars can be found along this avenue, information boards describe the individual species
