Very beautiful plateau on which there is a small lake and a short distance away a natural sinkhole known as the "crater".

The Piana del Dragone extends over a flat area of about 1100 hectares, located at a height of 685 meters above sea level and located on the southern edge of the village of Volturara. La Piana has an equipped picnic area, thanks to which it is possible to enjoy the wonder of the surrounding nature, the healthy air and the tranquility of the place.
