The bivouac, currently under renovation, is almost complete. Inside, there's only a fireplace. A table, some chairs, and possibly a bed would be needed. Outside, however, there's no manual pump to draw water from the cistern or a woodshed. The internet connection is poor.

Shelter with a fire pit, water, and tables. No bunk beds available in September 2025.

Small refuge but with everything you need, I really enjoyed making a little stop here before starting my route in the Sartorius Mountains. Excellent

Beautiful

You can sleep here or just have something to eat or drink. Fair prices for a mountain hut and a great view of Etna and the sea.

The area is kept in good condition and there is a barbecue area. If you need shelter I recommend using the old sheepfold which is located 50 meters towards the N. See photo. There is almost no connection.

A small oasis of peace in the middle of the woods where you can stop to rest or have a snack after seeing the Ilice of Carrinu.

Refuge equipped with an equipped area. There is no fountain for drawing water. The cistern 100 meters to the W is closed with a bolt. Following the path to the north you can admire a splendid panorama.
