A really beautiful hike, enchanted paths, great view at the top. I wouldn't classify it as easy though. If it has rained a few days before, at least the ascent is muddy and slippery, and further up it is difficult to walk because it is very rocky. The descent is also steep and rocky at the beginning.

Absolute highlight, breathtaking view and extraordinary flora and fauna. Only for experienced hikers and only ascent!!!!!!

The Ceva–Spinefrasse Mountains group in the Euganean Hills, located between Battaglia Terme and Montegrotto Terme, forms an amphitheater of hills with a unique appearance. With peaks reaching 255 meters, it is a natural oasis of great botanical value, thanks to its particular geology and microclimate.

The uphill section of the path on Monte Ceva is quite challenging and not suitable for little ones.

Quite steep climb, in this period there are muddy and very rocky sections: at least use trekking shoes. Climb time up to the iron cross approximately 2 hours, beautiful 360 degree panorama. Be careful on the descent: either you go back to the camper park or, to continue, follow the path on the crest. Or continue along the rock face, shorter but much more challenging.

Lying softly in the bucolic setting of the Padua countryside, Monte Gnoccozzo is certainly a special place. Why is it enchanting? Obvious! Following the ridge that divides the plain of Battaglia Terme and the valley that leads towards Galzignano, you cross the surprising variety of rugged surfaces covered with prickly pears that anticipate Mediterranean thickets of strawberry trees and thickets of oaks. You then enter caves dominated by heather to emerge among unexpected explosions of green.

Particularly beautiful in May, when the opuntias bloom on the southern side of the mountain. A sea of yellow flowers on black volcanic rock.

The path of Mount Calbarina and Mount Piccolo is easily reachable from Arquà Petrarca, from Monselice and from Padua, it offers very suggestive and beautiful panoramas to photograph.
