Even though the lake itself doesn't offer much, flamingos are often seen here. If you don't get too close, they stay cool and make good photographs.

The beach is beautiful, but at the end of April and the end of October it is completely crowded compared to other beautiful beaches.

Flamingos can be seen in the lagoon. Depending on the weather and wind, the lagoon can smell intensely.

At the southern end the beach can still be full, but the further you get onto the headland the emptier it becomes. There are beautiful views of the lagoon and the landscape behind it. If you're lucky you can also see flamingos and other birds. The dunes behind the beach are protected and should not be walked on (which unfortunately not everyone takes into account). It's a shame for us but good for nature.
